In order to put me in the mood to write, I literally have to create the VIBE. Now, this isn't something I necessarily have to do each time I penn a story, but when the word's aren't flowing, I have to set the mood so that I can create these characters that you all LOVE. In this short blog, I list a few of my rituals that gets ya girl together.
Intoxication
Puff Puff....Publish?
Although I'm not a certified Weed head, when I'm not enjoying a glass of wine, or tossing back Lemon drop Martini's, I find myself dipping in the Mr's "stash".
When I do indulge in a blunt or two, I use my Pretty and Saditty smoke stick. I hate burning my
Nails so By using these sticks, I can place my rolled weed at the tip, light it, and puff. It also makes me look all pretty while getting high too. Lol!
Being under the influence rather it's my liquor or chronic, always sets the mood for an overflow of literary greatness. I come up with some of the best ideas when my head is literally in the clouds. It's safe to say, I prefer to NOT be sober when writing, although I'm a beast when I'm not under the influence.

Clean that Cat
I'm a shower girl. Always have been, always will be. But, when I want the words to flow, A long and hot bubble bath in my jet tub does the job. I usually light a candle or two, have my poison in hand, and let the gargles of the jets take my mind to whatever realm I conjure up. That squeaky clean feeling makes me feel as if I can conquer the world!
Along with a clean body, I have to have a clean space. I'm extremely introverted so I'm almost always at home, in my bed. My house has to be cleaned from top to bottom with plug ins and a candle lit in every room. I'm a firm believer in not being able to have organized thoughts in an unorganized space! My house HAS to be cleaned.
Now tell me.... What sets your mood? What rituals do you practice in order to prepare for a task?
